Just so I would feel fine?

Do you listen to me?

Just so I can shut up?

Do you say I’m beautiful?

Just to try and build my self-esteem?

Is anything you say true?

Or are they just lies?

Are you hiding things from me?

And then hope I don’t find out?

Are you even who you say you are?

And turn out to be something ugly?

Are you afraid of what you are?

And try to act like something you’re not?

Tell me the truth

Are you sure of what you say?

And say what you’re sure of?

Are you even real?

And how do I know?
