I HATE DOING DISHES

I hate washing dishes                                                       From ever doing dishes!!

To always set me free

From washing any dishes

I rather live with the fishes

And we will live so happily

Together under the deep blue sea

Far from washing dishes

I hate washing dishes

And so does my friend Trishez

We would both move far away

And you’ll never hear me say

I was washing dishes

I hate washing dishes

Why is it so malicious?

I vow on this day

To always stay away

Shades

I got a pair of shades today

But how I got them is hard to say

Their wasn’t fighting but there might as well be

I guess some of the shades people won’t get to see

There was pink ones, purple ones, and green ones too

I wish I got enough to share with you

But since I didn’t I guess that’s too bad

I hope you’re not mad at me or even sad

But I did get enough to give to my sister

If I didn’t I suppose my shades would have to miss her

In the bathroom we took some pictures together

It looks really good like we were in sunny weather

Mommy said we could only take two

But that’s not what I wanted to do

But in the end the pictures came out fine

I really like them but mostly because they’re mine

I hope I could take more pictures so I would feel the same way

And hey, did I mention I got shades today?

Box ball

Box ball is so much fun

Especially if there’s not too much sun

Lots of friends are fine at first

But when more come, the line begins to burst

Soon it is your turn and you want to win

But as soon as you’re in the box you’re out before the game even begins

It hurts a lot but you get over it

But only because you know is not over yet

So you wait your turn in the line

And when you’re up its time to shine

The ball comes your way and so you shout

“Yes, I got it, you’re out!”

You point to the girl who is next to you

But then realize you’re the one who has to move

Embarrassed and ashamed you go to the back

Hoping no one will see you react

But that’s the way the game is played

I hope you decide to play one day

Doing the right thing

Doing the right thing is not hard to do

It’s something you should have already knew

But if you didn’t that is okay

Because I am here to show you the way

But first I really think you should know

How violence starts and how it grows

Youth violence is a very big deal

And you should take it seriously, like for real

There are a whole bunch causes that you may see

It can even start with you and me

It also starts right at home

When young people feel all alone

They get ignored and tossed aside

So they stay in a corner and try to hide

Away from their feelings, away from the world

In their own dark space in a small ball curled

Another big cause to violence is drugs

Anger, frustration, and depression pulls and tugs

At the heart until it breaks

And then you know it’s far too late

In some cases there is turning back

But they have to be willing and on the right track

Sometimes when you’re embarrassed you tend to take it out on anyone 

Then the anger is let out and goes off like a machine gun

I know the ways I can stop it now
But you may not know exactly how
If you don’t that is okay

Because I am here to show you the way

There are many ways to stop this problem

But you shouldn’t be on your own to solve them

Report it, tell an adult

They can help you get the end result

Avoid the ones who display the behavior

You can’t go around acting like the savior

The savior is God and he knows best

Just stay quiet and pray and he’ll do the rest

If you are brave then go and talk to them

Maybe you can get through and enlighten them

Who knows maybe you’ll become friends

And stop other people and bring violence to an end

Violence has indeed affected my life

But not so much to put me through strife

I have never been in a real serious fight

But I know of people who just might

The only thing I really did

Was have an argument with some kid

It wasn’t even that serious

I was just angry and a little bit furious

But when people fight it doesn’t just hurt them

It hurts everyone and everything around them

It is a scary sight to see

When someone you love is all mad and angry

It makes you sad and sometimes you feel their rage

And if you’re not careful you might engage

With all the violence in the world today

It’s sometimes hard to just stay away

But be strong and you’ll get through this

With you and me together, we can never ever miss

I think the world should be more like ants

We can learn a lot from them, they do things that we can’t

Like work together and get along

Like a sweet harmony to a special song

I hope you stop violence because you know that you should

And maybe someday we will stop it for good

I see you over there acting like a clown

You walk around telling all these lies

And somehow I’m not surprise

You try to run me out of town

You get me into all kinds of trouble

You do it so fast it’s like on the double

You try to make my face have a frown

But you need you know you can’t keep me down

So go ahead and try all your tricks

You think you’re so bad and you try to be slick

Just know that I’ll be seeing you around

And just remember you can’t keep me down
